Your article  Highlights in History mentioned "It was more than 40 years ago, in 1973, that our institution first began offering classes to 176 military students at the Avon Park Bomber Range in Highlands Park, FL, and later that year on MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa."  I remember that well.  I started my first course with Saint Leo college at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa Florida in the Spring 1 Semester, 1974.  The Class was World History. On December 14, 2014 I will finally finish my Bachelors degree in Business Administration: Management. Almost 41 years later.

Back in the 70's there was no internet so when I got reassigned to Germany, I had to put my education on hold until I came back to the United States. I took classes in the early 80s, early 90, and early 2000's.  The online courses were much different then.

Saint Leo University has come a long way from when I started and I envision a future with many more people taking their courses on line.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
