HON 499 Professor Moon's Library Instruction (Dr. Duncan): Alissa

Topic in Brief

"My honors project will be tackling the fetishization of true crime on social media. I want to look at how the true crime communities have become extremely toxic and how that impacts victims. I have seen a lot of this on Tiktok, Youtube, and Twitter specifically, especially when discussing True Crime series (such as on Netflix) and podcasts."

Hi Alissa,

Since you have used and will use EBSCO for this

research, I have done a wide net search in SAGE Journals

with "true crime" AND victim as my search terms and found 224 results.
