B6. COMPUTER & OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICE MISUSE

a. Computer Misuse: i. Theft or other abuse of computer resources includes, but is not limited to: 1. Unauthorized entry into a file, to use, read, change the contents, or for any other purpose. 2. Unauthorized transfer of a file. 3. Unauthorized use of another individual’s identification and password. 4. Use of computing facilities to interfere with the work or reasonable enjoyment of another student, faculty, member or University Official. 5. Use of computing facilities to interfere with normal operation of the University computing system. 6. Violations of the University’s Acceptable Use policy. 7. Use of computing facilities to violate federal, state or local laws or University policy. b. Electronic Device Misuse: Individuals are subject to electronic monitoring while on Saint Leo University premises and in secure areas. This monitoring is used to measure policy compliance as well as to protect Saint Leo University, its personnel, and others. In areas where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy, such as bathrooms, dressing rooms, and locker rooms, no visual or audio monitoring will be performed without prior notice or without direction from law enforcement.
