Your dissertation chair is an expert in middle school achievement. Your chair has been kidnapped, and all the computer servers at the school district with grades on them have been locked with a ransomware demand. Your chair sent you this cryptic message:

I am handcuffed to a phone in a room! I HELP ME! You MUST HELPthe kidnapper!! RESCUE ME!!

The kidnapper has decided that if they cannot help their child succeed in school, then the school will never access those computers again. You know the kidnapper is interested in a specific reading support strategy. It was found  at the kidnapping scene. With nothing but collective brainpower, hidden clues and 40 minutes on your side, you have to free your Chair and find the unlock code for the phone so that it can unlock the computers before the kidnapper returns.
