Think about It
When these researchers decided on their topic:
- They first needed to identify "a problem" that they wanted to investigate.
- Then they needed to decide how to conduct the investigation, and what statistical tools would be used to determine whether the information (data) collected was valid.
- Then they needed to gain permission to conduct the investigation (Proposal and IRB)
- Once permission was granted, they had to collect the data and analyze it
- Finally, the researchers had to draw conclusions, and make some determination concerning the research.
- Did it add to the "body of knowledge"?
