GLO 410: Systems Thinking: Chapter 17: Systemic Questioning

This guide for Systems Thinking provides students with links to references from the textbook Systems Concepts in Action in addition to other resources to help develop systemic thinkers.

Systemic Questioning

"An old Jewish proverb says that you should never trade a  good question for an answer, and sometimes the best way to answer can be by asking a question. Questions are he quintessence of evaluations and other forms of social inquiry. Through questions we acquire information, and we also generate new information. A well-thought-out question can liberate, provide more options, expand the horizon of perception, create a new frame in which new solutions emerge. A badly thought-out question can lead you deeper into a problematic state, into a world of restrictions and hopelessness."-Systems Concepts in Action, Chapter 17
