Objectives

At the conclusion of this module, students will be able to: 

  • Explain events and practices in the Hajj. 
  • Discuss the historical context from which Islam arose. 
  • Explain the five pillars of Islam. 
  • Discuss the relationship of Judaism and Christianity to Islam. 
  • Develop a vocabulary necessary for the discussion of Islam.
