HTY 351: African American History: From Slavery to Freedom: Welcome & Directions

Welcome & Directions

Hello & Welcome to the Library Guide for HTY 351.  The Green Tabs will lead you to different sections to assist you with components of your assignments.  An advantage of utilizing the library resources for your assignments, is that most of the full text library eBooks contain a CITE feature that will produce the citation you need to show what source you have used.  It is emphasized in your syllabus that you must cite your sources - properly.  Giving credit to the source of information reflects Saint Leo core values of respect, responsible stewardship, and personal development.  It also is in line with the Association of College & Research Libraries Framework for Information Literacy concept of Information has Value by students giving the proper credit to the work of others through citing the source.

"Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education", American Library Association, February 9, 2015.
