Open Educational Resources (OER)

Open Educational Resources (OER) are freely accessible, openly licensed documents and media that are useful for teaching, learning, and assessing as well as for research purposes.

Open Oregon Educational Resources works with faculty to create online educational resources that can be accessed freely by students and teachers in digital media collections around the world. Examples of open educational resources (OERs) include full courses, course modules, syllabi, lectures, homework assignments, quizzes, classroom activities, pedagogical materials, games and much more.
