Saint Leo Helps Government Agency Deliver Skills Training to Business Owners

Saint Leo University announced that it has signed an agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration to jointly promote small business resources to entrepreneurs and existing businesses to foster more economic development. SLU-SBA-signing The SBA will provide a link from its website to the Saint Leo University website, www.saintleo.edu.
Saint Leo’s Donald R. Tapia School of Business already provides office space and event space at University Campus in Florida for a local representative of the Small Business Development Center, an SBA-approved program that hosts workshops on topics such as financing. The broader agreement with the SBA should provide more visibility for speakers, publications, and business development programs, including some developed for specific populations, such as women, veterans, and the Hispanic community.
