The Reserve Process

Professors may designate materials to be placed on RESERVE for their classes in the physical library OR in electronic reserve on the library's website. Use the Reserve Request Form.

What can be placed on print reserves?

  • Textbooks owned by the library or by the faculty
  • OER print materials
  • Articles for students to read or copy
  • DVDs
  • Models, ephemera, and objects owned by the library or the faculty

What can be placed on electronic reserves (eReserves)?

  • EBooks in library collections
  • OER e-Textbooks
  • Digitized books in the public domain
  • Articles in the library's databases
  • Articles the library obtains through InterLibrary Loan (1 semester per year)
  • Digital Photographs, websites, and other links
