Newspapers Around the World

We have access to hundreds of newspapers from the U.S. and from around the world.

Challenge your students to read about current events and connect them to your course content.

Videos on Demand

Videos have easy-to-use links that can be used in your course. Most videos are divided into smaller segments. Transcripts and citations are available for all videos. Educational videos are provided by the industry's top producers, A&E, ABC News, American Museum of Natural History, Cambridge, HBO, PBS, Nova, and more.

Books and Ebooks

Search the library catalog for print books and e-books to use in your course. The video tutorial below shows how to search for ebooks, open and save the provided citation.
Print books can be placed on reserve for classes on the main campus. RESERVE REQUEST FORM
EBooks can be used in courses using links. Consider giving students the link to one chapter. If you need help figuring out which link to use, contact the library.

Scholarly Articles

We have more than 100 databases.  The catalog search tool will search for almost everything the library has.

If you locate an article with an abstract without the full text, you may request the article using Interlibrary Loan.  Check with Learning Design to determine if articles obtained through ILL may be used for your course.

Watch the video below for step-by-step directions on how to search the library catalog and limit your search to peer-reviewed articles.

Contact a librarian for support. We will be happy to help you search for quality content for your course.

Company and Industry Reports

Company reports, company financials, in-depth market reports, SWOT analysis, case studies, and industry reports are available in our Business databases. Go directly to the database to search for materials. The video tutorials below may help. Seek support from a librarian if needed.

Magazines and Trade Journals

There is great value for students to also utilize trade journals and magazines. In some cases, peer-reviewed journals do not have articles on the topics that meet students' needs. You may want to plan specific assignments that allow students to use a variety of sources, not just peer-reviewed.

Below is a list of trade journals and magazines that you may consider recommending to your students.
