Steps to Proper Interviewing

Steps to Interviewing a Primary Source:

1. Do your homework--look around online for who would be best to interview for your assignment.

2. Inquire with them with a formal request to interview. Include your availability as well. 

3. When arrangements are made, begin writing key questions--think of the best questions that will enliven your research. 

4. Dress nicely/arrive early.

5. After interview send an email/note thanking person(s) for their time.
