The library concepts and skills (frames) that I hope to share through this guide are:

Searching as a Strategic Exploration - "Searching for information is often nonlinear and iterative, requiring the evaluation of a range of information sources and the mental flexibility to pursue alternate avenues as new understanding develops"

Students who are learning these concepts and developing these skills "identify interested parties, such as scholars, organizations, governments, and industries, who might produce information about a topic and then determine how to access that information." ("Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education", 2015)

"Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education", American Library Association, February 9, 2015. (Accessed May 13, 2020)
