EDU 532: Library Research Guide: 4. APA/Zotero

Instructions

1. Watch the videos for Zotero.

2. Try out https://zbib.org.

3. Complete the activity worksheet for Module 4.

Activity worksheets for Modules 1-5

Download the Word document. It contains worksheets for each of the five modules in this LibGuide.

Complete the activities for this module and save the document.

Name it this way:
EDU532_YourLastName_LibraryWorksheets.

You will re-open and re-save the same document as you complete the activities in each of the five modules.

Submit the single completed Word document (containing your answers to all five worksheets) to the Online Library Exercises assignment folder.

Bring copies of your completed worksheets with you to the virtual class meeting. You will need your results to contribute to the group discussion and activities we have planned.

Alternative Citation Tools to Consider

There are several options on the Internet, as well as the features of your Word processor and Google Scholar.

If you are generating your own citations by hand, I recommend consulting the Perdue University Online Writing Laboratory, which includes a downloadable sample paper in APA format.

Otherwise, I would like to suggest exploring Zotero or Mendeley, both of which provide graduate students the chance to join a community of scholars and the ability to share and collaborate.
