Publication Spotlight: The Paris Review
The Paris Review is a popular title at the Cannon Memorial Library! This literary magazine was established by editors Matthiessen, Humes and Plimpton in 1953. It was designed to mimic the classic literary magazines that were circulating in 1920's Paris. Numerous authors over the years have contributed works and interviews to the publication. The library has electronic and print access.
Welcome to the Cannon Memorial Library's Print Periodicals Page
What is a print periodical? It is generally a newspaper or magazine that is published on a regular basis/periodically, in print format. These may also be referred to as serials publications.
Please Note: Periodicals cannot be checked-out of the library. However, you may read and/or photocopy our periodicals (with the exception of some older issues in poor condition located upstairs). You may also access our microfiche/microfilm collection within the library. Please ask at the circulation desk for help.
The circulation desk also maintains copies of reserved periodicals that you may ask for by leaving us your Saint Leo ID to use within the library: THE ECONOMIST, FLORIDA TREND, FORBES, FORTUNE, TIME, STREET & SMITHS SPORT JOURNAL, TIME AND TAMPA BUSINESS JOURNAL/BOOK OF LISTS.
PLEASE NOTE: The Current Print Periodicals list is not the ENTIRE list of what the library owns ( please search the MASTER LIST OF PERIODICALS tab above/left if you want to see EVERYTHING we own). Rather these are journals that have a current, active subscription.
