Philosophy Subject Research Guide: Print Periodicals

Blue Books

How do I find a journal article?

To find a journal article, click on Online Databases or see the "Online Databases" tab above.  If you cannot find the full text of an article in the database you are using, follow the steps below to locate the article:

Print Periodicals

Below is a list of print (hard copy) periodicals and journals to which the library subscribes.  These publications are located in the Periodicals Section of the Cannon Memorial Library on the main floor. Print periodicals may only be used in the library.

NOTE: Many of these titles are now accessible online, so check the AtoZ (e)Journal List first. If you still cannot find full-text of your article, but the library has it in the print periodical section, use the Interlibrary Loan Request for an Article form to have a digital copy of the print article sent to you.
