Use books:
What is ILL and Document Delivery? Interlibrary loan expands research possibilities by making books and articles available from other libraries. Document delivery is a way for us to get articles (from our library or elsewhere) to you via email or fax.
Document Delivery: We can fax, email, or mail articles and books from the collection to your home or business. (off campus only)
Interlibrary Loan (ILL): We can get books and articles for you from other libraries, then send them to your home or office. Most requests take about a week. However, it may take up to two or even three weeks for hard to get items. During busy periods, high amounts of requests will be processed as time permits.
What can you request?
What can't you request? We do not accept requests for videos, computer programs, ebooks, or items which we already own.
How long does it take? Anywhere from 2 days to 4 weeks, depending upon location and availability. Most interlibrary loans take 4 business days from the time you submit a request until you have the item in hand.
If you have questions about library hours, consult our calendar; any other questions, please contact the ILL department (352) 588-8328 or (800) 359-5945 .
