- Patient (1 nursing student)

- Should act out symptoms realistically
- Family Member (1 nursing student)
- Sarah's sister who's worried about her
- Knows family medical history
- Nurse Station Attendant (1 nursing student)
- Has vital signs chart and test results
- Only shares information when specifically asked
- Medical Detectives (3-5 non-nursing students)
- Work as a team to solve the mystery
- Can interview patient and family
- Can request vital signs and tests
Room Setup
- Main area: Room with chairs
- Also in the area: Nurse's "station" with medical charts (file folders)
- "Patient" in medical bed
- Optional: Basic medical equipment (blood pressure cuff, thermometer)
Safety Notes
- Ensure all participants know it's a simulation
- Have a signal for pausing if needed
- Keep real medical equipment clearly marked as props
- Maintain professional behavior despite playful nature
- Have water and seats available for all participants
