Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located on the first floor of Cannon Memorial Library, University Campus.
Q: Do you offer long-distance writing support?
A: Absolutely. Appointments are conducted by phone, Zoom, or e-mail. Unfortunately, in-person appointments are not available at this time.
Q: Do you proofread or edit papers?
A: We cannot offer proofreading or editing services. Instead, we collaborate with writers to develop lasting and portable writing skills, thereby cultivating knowledge rather than providing correction.
Q: Who can make an appointment?
A: All current Saint Leo students, faculty, and staff may schedule an appointment.
Q: What do I need to provide prior to the session?
A: It is helpful to provide a copy of your assignment (if a draft exists), along with assignment guidelines and particular questions or concerns you wish to discuss.
Q: Do you review assignments from disciplines other than English?
A: We welcome writing assignments and text-based projects (including PowerPoints) from disciplines across the curriculum. Although we are not subject-matter experts for many of these subjects, we are qualified to discuss how well your writing adheres to assignment guidelines and conventions of academic writing.
