These three modules teach you research basics using videos, practice questions, and then quizes.

Module 1  

Lesson 1 teaches you about how to choose the best database that will be most likely to help you.

Lesson 2 teaches you how to search better once you're in those databases, like boolean searching or more formal search phrases.

Lesson 3 teaches you how to manage information overload and how to broaden or narrow your searches.

Module 2

Lesson 1 covers the A B Cs of searching, Authority, Bias, and Content.

Lesson 2 teaches you more ways to identify scholarly sources.

Lesson 3 focuses on how to verify online sources.

Module 3

Lesson 1 teaches you about creating citations.

Lesson 2 teaches you how to cite, paraphrase, and how to avoid plagiarism. 

Lesson 3 covers how to make works cited pages and bibliographies.
