Intro to World Population and Health

The United Nations put the world population at seven billion in October of 2011. How long can our planet support this population? How much of that population is surviving right now without adequate health care? Basic medical, dental, and prenatal care are absent in many parts of the world. The ICRC is the world's largest humanitarian organization, providing preventative and emergency relief worldwide with a focus on areas of armed conflict.
Médecins Sans Frontières
MSF, or Doctors Without Borders, is an international medical organization based in France that provides emergency medical aid to those in need worldwide.
Project HOPE
Project HOPE (Health Opportunities for People Everywhere) provides medicine, supplies, and training internationally for both preventative healthcare and disaster relief.
