Usually, page numbers are required for all in-text citations in MLA format. In place of a page number you could put the minute and second of the song or video that you are referencing, such as 1:25, which means one minute and 25 seconds into the song. Ask your professor if they want you to use this method.
The Bible and other religious sources are cited as books without an author. If there is an author for an annotated version or a translator, cite as an edited book or translated book. See the page on in-text citations.
The title should be in italics, followed by the version.
Format: Title. Version, Edition, Publisher, Date of Publication.
Example: The Bible. New Revised Standard Version, Catholic Edition, Hendrickson Publishers, 1993.
The online version should include information about the webpage and website.
