In librarianship, we are guided by various information literacy goals that we aim to impart to our class sessions. For this session on immigration, three important strategies come to mind:
1. Matching information needs and search strategies to appropriate search tools. Basically, what are we looking for? Where are THE BEST places to find this information?
2. Drawing reasonable conclusions based on the analysis and interpretation of information.
3. Organizing information in a meaningful way. There is a certain method--a 5-10 minute, presentation, required for this assignment. How will you organize the information appropriately?
