Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Presents New Faculty Training Series:  Reading Across the Curriculum (RAC)

As part of ongoing faculty training in Writing Across the Curriculum, The WAC Initiative is beginning a new program of faculty training: Reading Across the Curriculum. As we know, good writing and reading skills are intricately connected, and students today struggle with not only learning to write effectively but also learning to read effectively. This “aliteracy,” as it is called, is the lack of solid reading habits and skills in college students today and has become more prevalent in recent years.
